Well, this past year at least, the more things change…the more they keep changing!
Just as we opened up our store again and expanded our hours we, of course, went back into lock down again. No complaints here — we think it’s absolutely the best thing for our customers, employees and the community to stay home and stay safe.
We’re still doing regular curbside pick-up hours of Tuesday – Saturday 10-4, and are available by email (info@malenaka.ca) or phone (613-695-8558) to answer any questions and help with your projects.
By now you likely know the drill, but as a reminder, the best thing to do is order ahead on malenkaoriginals.com. We’re fast putting together orders, and can have it ready same day (except Sunday and Monday when we’re closed).
Our customers have been working on a tonne of projects during this lock down, especially as the weather starts to turn and we’re all looking forward to spending some time outside working on projects (our paints are fine to use outside, but we all love being out in the fresh air and sunshine, right?).
And during these stay-at-home times, don’t forget that if you need a little more help with your projects, our digital Introduction to Chalk Paint™ workshop is here to help! For only $25, you get over 1.5 hours of instruction, learning from home at your own pace.

A true hot pink with depth and energy, provocative yet captivating!
Capri Pink is named after the upscale Italian island resort, and is inspired by the vivid bright pinks which populate folk palettes around the globe, from Mexican textiles to Pakistani truck art to Romany gypsy caravan interiors.
We currently have Capri Pink available in litres only, but are hoping that samples will be available soon. But really, it’s such a hot colour that we think a litre is definitely the way to go 😉 We all need a little bit of colour energy in our lives right now!
